Yesterday I was inspired by another digital artist/photographer’s work who was also inspired by the wonderful Modigliani – so for 2 days I have revisited my arty side and started digitally painting in the “style” of Modigliani.

This is the first time that I haven’t had a photograph as a starting point and I have painted straight onto a blank digital canvas and I have found it most exciting if a little daunting.  I have to say a blank digital canvas is just as intimidating as a “real” canvas canvas !

I like would to start moving away from straight photography and creating images from photographs and explore new avenues….. so here goes. These are my first 2 digital dabblings and hopefully I will share my journey with you (if you are interested)
